Dog Training Classes

 Country Dog wants to teach people how to handle their dogs and to teach their dogs to have self control in a positive way!

 

 We provide Puppy Kindergarten, Beginner 1, Beginner 2, Intermediate, and Family Fun Agility

 

Pre-Registration is Required for All Classes

All dogs are trained with a flat collar, gentle leader, or check collar (half nylon-half chain collar).

NO PRONG collars allowed.

ALL CLASSES 

are Taught:

 

Basic Obedience:  Sit, Down, Stay, Heel, Come, Sit Stay, Down Stay,

Doggie Manners:  No Jumping, No Barking, No Biting, Wait at the Door

Others Include:   Go to Bed, Off, Leave It, Wait, Give, Stand, Come to Heel

  •    Puppy, Beginner 1, Intermediate Classes are:

     

    • 7 Weeks                                               

    • One-Hour Per Week                           

    • 8 Dogs Per Class             

    Puppy Kindergarten Class: 

     

    For All Dogs over 3 months old and Under 6 months old.

     

    Learn about: Housebreaking, Biting, Jumping, and All those Puppy Behaviors!

     

    Start Out Right!!  This is the Most Impressionable Age for your Dog!! 

     

    We use all treat motivated training and nylon collars for All puppies!

    Beginner 1 Class: For All Dogs over 6 months who have never taken a Training Class.
    Beginner 2 Class: The Next Step from Beginner 1!!  We are looking for dogs who can do at least a one minute sit stay.  The Trainers really push for you and your dog to work "OFF LEASH" and only using verbal commands.  Do you think your up for this Challenge?!!
     

     

       

    Paw Power Class 1

     

     

    Pre-requisite Puppy or Beginner 1

    • You bring your dog the first week

    • Jump right in and start training

    • Faster pace

    • Challenging for both dog and owner

    • MUST be 6 months of age

     

    Also known as a Beginner 2 Class:

     

    Taught in 4 weeks instead of 7 weeks

     

     

    Is a 7 week course taught in 4 Weeks. 

    Week 1 is 2 hours

    Week 2-4 is 1.5 hours

     

       

    Come When Called -

     

    Pet Obedience Workshop

     

    This is a 3-week "Special Topic" progressive course:

    • 3 Week Class

    • Class is open to all dogs that have graduated a Puppy or Beginner 1 Class

    • Required is a minimum of a 1-minute "stay" or "wait" command

    • Strictly a "positive reinforcement" course

     

       

    Tricks Class!! 

    Week:

    1. Bow
    2. Shake
    3. Roll Over
    4. Biscuit on the Nose
    5. Play Dead
    6. Praying
    7. and MORE!!

     

    • 6 Weeks

    • 7 pm

    • One Hour Week

    • 8 Dogs Per Class

    • $100

    • All Dogs Must know Sit & Down

     

       

     

     

    NOTE: 

    Aggressive Dogs will need to be evaluated before signing up for class.
